Auf Grundlage des großen Interesses und der hohen Nachfrage des am 30. September 2014 stattgefundenen “UN Procurement Seminars” in Bonn, wird eine Nachfolgeveranstaltung am 29. Januar 2015 stattfinden. In Bonn befinden sich die Procurement-Abteilungen des Klimasekretariates der Vereinten Nationen UNFCCC, des Freiwilligenprogramms der Vereinten Nationen UNV und weitere 16 UN-Organisationen. In Bonn werden hauptsächlich Produkte und Dienstleistungen aus den Bereichen IT, “Media”, Events, Bürobedarf und Übersetzungen eingekauft. Das Seminar wird am 29. Januar in Bonn stattfinden und richtet sich an Unternehmen, die sich für das UN-Geschäft in Bonn interessieren oder bereits liefern.

The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) is an organisation created by the Georgetown Agreement in 1975. It is composed of 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific states, with all of them, save Cuba, signatories to the Cotonou Agreement, also known as the “ACP-EC Partnership Agreement” which binds them to the European Union. There are 48 countries from Sub-Saharan Africa, 16 from the Caribbean and 15 from the Pacific.

The European Development Fund (EDF) is the main instrument for providing Community aid for development cooperation in the ACP States and OCT. The 1957 Treaty of Rome made provision for its creation with a view to granting technical and financial assistance, initially to African countries which at that time were still colonised and with which some Member States had historical links.
